I will be watching and rooting for the Knights. I don’t want fans of the team, no matter how they feel about O’Leary to not be excited about the bowls game. Bowl games are still a special thing at UCF. We still are not at a place where we can take them for granted. Some of this is due to the incompetence of O’Leary. OK all of it is. But when we get to one, and we are the only game on national TV tomorrow, we need to play well and win the game. In a way, this might be even better than playing in the Liberty Bowl, because there are other games on that day. Tomorrow, we are it. So for those of us who are heading to the game, scream loud, stand up and have fun! This is the last chance you’ll get to see the Knights play until next September and might be the last bowl game we play in for a long time. GO KNIGHTS!!

I agree, I’m a knight no matter what; however, it’s time for UCF to commit to their football program. O’Leary is a nice man. He has done an amazing job, but it’s time to move on to the next level. For years I’ve heard my gator friends say,”You are a fairly new program. It takes time. Someday…” Blah, blah, blah. Every year (1980 to present) I attend the games, no matter what, in hopes of moving to the next level. I’ve seen improvement, but It’s time to go all the way. We’ve put in our time. We need a coach with new ideas. South Florida has done it, and their program is newer. So, wake up UCF. We are one of the largest universities in the nation. Hire a coach with innovative ideas. We are still making pop warner coaching mistakes. Don’t sit around and settle. Our UCF players deserve to be in the top 10. I love our knights and want only the best!
