Ohio State

OK so we stomped the crap out of Akron. Nice win for the Knights. But let’s be honest here. Akron is really awful. How many times did they give us the ball in the red zone? I lost count. Handing the ball off at the end of the first half backed up at the five was sheer genius. Scratch Terry Bowden off any future coaches list. Not that he’d have been on any in the first place.

This week, the Knights take on Urban Meyer and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Oddsmakers have instilled OSU as an 18 point favorite. I like UCF to cover this . I think Ohio State is over rated. Several people that watched their game last week say they think UCF can win the game outright. Man would I love to see that.

So much so that I’m thinking if UCF wins on Saturday, the site goes down for the year.

Urban Meyer is a snake in the grass. How can you respect a man that uses his family as an excuse to bail out of one job so he can be there when another job will inevitably open? If you wanted the Ohio State job, you could have just pulled a Lane Kiffin and told the Gators, “Hey, it’s been real, but my dream job just opened up. Gotta go”

That would have been less sleazy than saying you were leaving to spend time with your kids, then immediately taking a job as an ESPN color commentator where you traveled all over the country, then the next year take the Buckeyes job. Question: How does any parent of a high school recruit believe a word that comes out of this guy’s mouth? Go get him George!

This FIU game is a must win for George. Seriously, if we lose on Saturday, we should take a petition around campus and request him to be fired. What’s sad is the fact we even have to have this conversation. FIU loss never should have happened last year. Still pissed about it…
