I can't believe I went to the game and O'Leary didn't play our starting QB and RB. I'd really like to hear the true injury report on these guys. Can anyone answer why we punted on that drive in the first quarter? I think it would have been a 45 yard field goal or so? Is our kicker that unreliable?

I knew we were screwed when i saw #4 out there. And then no #34 on top of that? And those refs were awful. Anytime Texas got stopped they gave them a first down anyway. We had them stopped in the end zone and they get a no call. They trap a pass, it gets called a catch, no review. they get a first down by the skin of their teeth, and then go on to score. With all that went against us we did a pretty decent job I thought. We also had a couple of chances to make what could have been huge game changing plays. #57 drops an INT that he could've possibly scored on. #2 had a possible INT a play or two before the 88 yard TD pass.

Today was one of those days where Texas caught all the breaks. They are better than us to begin with. If they catch all the breaks they blow us out, which they did. If we had a day where we catch all the breaks we could keep it close, possibly upset them. Didn't happen.

The bad thing about playing without #11 and #34 is now GO has an excuse. But this shows how we've fallen in ten years. 10-12 years ago this was a close game.

WHY is Calabrese starting and Hodges not? What is going on why did O'Leary change the depth charts? I swear if he thinks he can fool Texas, it wont. Whats with this lets rush on every down crap? Really WTF i am definitely transferring after this year, This school will never know what good is unless people put these situations in their own hands..Boosters, Administrators, where are they?! They should be worse than what FSU is doing to Bowden.

Unfortunately unlike yourself, I have a way of gauging the mood of the fan base. On the admin page I can go look at the stats on a particular day, week month, etc. When we lose this site is pretty darn popular. When we win, not so much. I can only assume from this that a bowl game will really pacify the faithful. Win it, and we might as well get used to another year of Coach O.

UCF fans unfortunately are not the die hards that the Gators and Seminoles have. They are easily fooled by a win or two. They don't see the big picture. The big picture is we should roll through this conference pretty much every year. And we don't.

I know from a good source that O'Leary's contract was restructured last year to give the university more leeway in letting him go, and not having to take a major financial hit.

But, honestly, look at what you're saying.

"That last second win on ESPN has taken a lot of the heat off."

SO, the university, and others are satisfied with a last minute win against an opponent they should've blown out, and a season where they just barely qualify for a bowl, again. It's like watching a drunk just barely be able to stagger home, then pass out on his front doorstep.

My fear is, if they don't pull the trigger now, UCf's going to miss out on some prime coaching candidates this coming offseason.

I'm a 2004 grad of the school, and was there when he was hired (much to the chagrin of many after his debacle at Notre Dame), and outside of one year that showed things had promised, have been disappointed the rest of the time.

Recruiting's not over yet. If we can get in to the top 50, I'll be pretty happy with that. I don't see us getting rid of O'Leary this year to be honest with you. It looks like we're going bowling. That last second win on ESPN has taken a lot of the heat off. But if his pattern of tanking in even numbered years happens again, we might be able to get rid of him next year.

So we've jumped up a few spots. They should've destroyed Marshall, instead they barely squeaked out the win literally in the last minute of the game.

It's still time for a change. The program has top notch facilities, its own stadium, the campus is the best it's ever been, the time is right for the program to take the step to the next level. But it'll never happen as long as O'Leary is coach.

And this will be the best year for that change, with all the prime coaching candidates that will be available.

In all fairness, we've jumped up 10 spots on rivals.com to #64.

I'm not going to worry about the site coming down Sunday, because I've got better chances to win the lottery than UCF does beating Texas.

It's time for O'Leary to go. As far as I'm concerned, he's been a fair coach at best. The piss poor recruiting, bonehead decisions with personnel and game strategy, and the lack of growth by the program far outweigh the success he had in one or two seasons.
