Just got a letter from UCF attorneys. They’re pissed about our little ole website. I guess they think a little intimidation will make us go away. But then they expect us to buy tickets? Go figure. Sounds a bit dictatorial to me. YOU WILL TAKE WHAT WE GIVE YOU AND LIKE IT!! NOW GIVE US YOUR MONEY!! Here’s a thought. You want the site down? FIRE THIS PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR A COACH!!

They’re probably just upset over your use of graphics…as a loyal reader, I wouldn’t mind if you edited out the UCF graphics to comply with the attorneys. Which still sorta sucks, though — you’ve been adamant about your support for the university and UCF athletes, while being highly critical of O’Leary and the administration’s continuation of his employment.

That’s their excuse. But if we were running a “Yay, UCF. YAY O’Leary” site, they wouldn’t care. I know of many sites that use school logos that aren’t being sued. It’s not like we’re making money here. They have no problem taking our money for tickets though. Is it just me or do any of you think maybe a team that was ranked DEAD LAST in the nation in offense last year ought to maybe give us a discount this year? Especially since most of us aren’t making as much money as we made last year, ticket prices remaining the same is like an increase.
