Please UCF Administration. Act immediately. Hire Tommy Tuberville to be the next coach at UCF before some other school grabs him. There are too many good coaches available right now to stay with the status quo. Tuberville should be called first. if he’s not interested, then call Fulmer. Then Tommy Bowden.

Just today, oblivious and indecisive Keith Tribble sent out a happy-gram to all the season ticket holders today, essentially begging them to keep flushing money down the porcelain convenience:
“On behalf of UCF Athletics, we sincerely appreciate your continued patronage and support of the Knights football program through your season ticket purchase during the 2008 campaign.
“As a season ticket holder, you have become part of a large and growing group of alumnus, fans and supporters who have invested in our Knights in their quest for success on and off the field. With that, you have our sincere gratitude.
“Looking forward to the 2009 season we will start early and act often in letting you know how much you mean to us.
“In December, a special thank you card and exclusive season ticket holder gift will be sent first class to your address in our records. In the coming month you will also receive information regarding a 2009 season ticket holder survey. We ask that you participate in this informative form of feedback and by doing so, register to win a pair of season tickets for the 2009 football season.
“It is our hope that you BELIEVE in your team and our championship aspirations for the season ahead.”

Yeah, I got one of those too. The survey should be interesting huh? I don’t know about you guys, but I’m seriously questioning the wisdom behind buying season tickets next year. I know the Miami game is on there. But, the way it’s looking, we’ll get killed in that one anyway. if we keep blindly buying season tickets and keep showing up, the A.D. will think we can just keep doing what we’re doing and everything will be OK. Plus there is the fact that the economy is in the toilet. I don’t know about you people, but I’m sweating whether I’ll have a job much longer. Do I have money to throw away on bad football? Especially when you can pretty much just show up with $10 in your pocket and get a ticket off of a scalper. Kind of doesn’t make sense to spend $40 a piece and then have to donate to the GKC on top of that.
