This wonderful page allows all of us an equal opportunity to express our views and the ability to openly discuss pros and cons of the UCF football program.
I agree that I will neverroot against UCF as I am truly for the TEAM unlike Mr O'Leary. I will refuse to call him by any athletic title, instead calling him Mr., as that's all he is to me. Just a guy passing(no pun intended) through and using UCF as he used some of his players (Smith).
I appreciate this web page and I disagree with anyone who says it assists the negativity on campus towards the football program. Mr. O'Leary has already done the program all the damage it can take.
I have already ordered my tickets, made my donation for my parking, and all that stuff needed to continue to participate. It is too bad that much of those, and student fees are going towards Mr. O'Leary's pockets, yet in return we, the investors, have received little if anything in return!
I hardly ever agree with the Slantinel but the recent editorial on Mr. O'Leary hit the nail directly on the noggin! Mr. O'Leary IS bad for UCF. He has out grown any usefulness he might have had and it's time for him to falsify another resume and move on. He has taught all the students a very good lesson on how NOT to act when in the business world. Instead, UCF graduates are honest, dedicated, giving, social, intelligent, and, most of all, caring, wonderful people. It is that quality which allows me to come back time and again to cheer on OUR football team, NOT Mr. O'Leary.
The sooner Mr. O'Leary departs, the better the quality of lessons will be!
