Same story different day. We’ve been what? Five games without an offensive score after halftime? That’s just downright pathetic. Hey Coach! Ever heard of a screen pass? How about some gadget plays? A draw? Do something!! Anything!! What you’re doing now? IT AINT WORKING!! And why is it our opponents make this game look easy but we look like we’re trying to invent a time machine out there? Here’s a clue genius. When the Southern Miss punter runs to his right EVERY SINGLE TIME and kicks a low line drive that hits 15 yards in front of Burnett, you’re only weapon, how about trying to rush the punt and BLOCK ONE!! I get home and turn on the Gator game and guess what? Vanderbilt is doing the SAME THING and guess what UF did? YEAHHH!! They rushed in and blocked not one but TWO Vandy punts. WOW!! Amazing huh? Or here’s another suggestion. Have Joe move to his left and up about fifteen yards. This is not BRAIN SURGERY!!
Here’s another brilliant idea. You know that slant you threw to #9 last week that went for a touchdown? HOW ABOUT WE TRY THAT PLAY AGAIN AT LEAST ONE EFFING TIME!! It’s not like we have a plethera of plays that we have go for touchdowns. It wouldn’t seem like you would forget the ONE PLAY that works!!

I am soooooo tired of the same old story. While the players do make mistakes, the coaching at yeasterday’s game was once again, sickening. Calabrese is, I’m sure, a nice young man with a future in tossing the ball. However, it’s Greco who has already earned the top spot, yet Mr Oleary continues the childish, “they have to earn the top spot” foolishness each week.
Every team, no matter who, needs, no, requires consistency in order to not only play with some sort of consistenct, but to also improve!
It truly is time, (I thought he should have gone the end of last year) for Mr. Oleary to vacate the top coaching slot and retire. If he isn’t ready to retire, then I would hope he’ll coach another team in our conference so we’ll have the opportunity to allow him to continue his losing ways!
Yes, he was undefeated at Notre Dame. He was also winless!

Neither one is earning it as far as I can tell. But in the games Greco has played we took USF to OT, we were in the game against BC while he was playing, we were tied at the half against SMU and he comes in for the second half and we win by 14, and ECU we go to OT and may have won had O’Leary had the guts to go for 4th and a half yard. It just seems to me when Greco plays we at least have a fighting chance. Calabrese could have played against Miami’s defense for a month without scoring. Our defense and special teams played a whale of a game only to be let down by the offense. Of course we can say the same thing about pretty much every game can’t we?
